About Me

My name is Julie Alexander and I teach Kindergarten here at YES. I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Millard South High School. I am a UNK graduate with teaching endorsements in elementary and early childhood education. Throughout my career I have taught pre school, kindergarten and first grade. I love being a teacher for many reasons; one of the best is the relationship you develop with each child. I fell very lucky to teach here in York and have such a wonderful class! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, swimming, bike riding and reading. My husband Patrick and I have three children, Jalen is 17, Kaiya is 15 and Jaxson is 12. We also have a dog named Buddy and a cat named Beans.
